Past Two Weeks

So I have failed to update my blog as often as I hoped I would, but that's because I have been quite busy!

Two weeks ago, I went with Steven, Neal, and Josh to see Coldplay. We had second row seats! The band, Howling Bells, was amazing! You should all definitely check them out. They have a hot lead singer. Snow Patrol was alright. Coldplay rocked a 24-song set! They played an acounstic set on the side stage RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! They played God Put A Smile/Talk and Chris played The Hardest Part and Postcards from Far-Away! IT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW!

The next Friday I went to Design Discovery at MSU (Architecture Camp). It was alot of fun and I met alot of people!

Unfortunately I had to go straight from camp to North Carolina to take care of family business. We stopped for a night in Atlanta and the next morning we took my dad diving in the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the world. Well there were only 7 divers and this one guy, nicknamed "Captain Bob" according to the diver masters, had a sign that he took down saying "Tweet this Malkoff." After the dive debriefing, he waiting for us to tell us how much he enjoyed diving with us. I asked him what the sign was for and he replied, "Mark Malkoff is living on an AirTran plane for the entire month of June and is Twittering the whole time. I work for AirTran and know him from work. I train pilots." Well, earlier, he mentioned that he ran into Demi Moore Thursday because the dive master said she was at the aquarium and got to feed the balooga whale. Later, we figure out that he is actually the OWNER of AirTran!

Then we went to North Carolina and stayed a night in the Grove Park Inn. We are now in Atlanta on our trip home. Hopefully, I can actually go home this time.

My First Official Blog

Hello Bloggers,
In my blog, I hope to document the events in my life which make an outstanding impact in the way I live and view life, to inform other bloggers about issues, charities, and such, and to take a firm stand on those issues, yet allow an open discussion of the issues for anyone. I hope you find it interesting. Ultimately, I hope to maybe impact someone else's life in a positive way through enlightening them about my experiences.

Most recent thing that has RADICALLY altered my life is the following nightmare. I have never before so clearly and distinctly recalled a dream. I am not sure as to why I remember it so clearly, but one day I'll probably find out. Well here it is:

I'm in Disney world at a resort. Disney has been doing major
renovations by blowing up the interiors of the buildings that they
want to renovate.
I have been in Disney world with michael and my mom for two days.
Well, one morning I wake up to this annoying siren going off. I grab
my iPhone and glasses and rush out of the room to see everyone
evacuting. Immediately I get Michael out of the room. Oddly he is
carrying a packed backpack. I told my mom to stop packing too because
our safety is most important.
Once out of the building, I notice a crazyed-looking Disney worker
with a remote in his hand. Curiously, I ask him what the emergency was
all about.
He says, "O there's no emergency, son. We're just about to
renovate this building and we couldn't blow it up with you all
inside." then he procedes to press the magic button and Boom! the
inside of the building is incenerated. Oddly, the exterior is in
perfect condition, but the strangeness was pushed aside and said to be
"the magic of Disney".
So there I stand in a tshirt and boxers, staring at the building
in which all my other valuables and clothes are. It doesn't hit me
immediately, but as the day progresses, I get pissed! Why didn't
anyone warn me? Where the heck am I supposed to stay? Why did Disney
set flame to all of my valuables? Who is this freak who thinks he can
do all this?
As the day goes on, I realize that Michael and my mother knew
about the "planned" demolition which is why Michael had his backpack
packed and my mom drug her suitcase out of the building. They don't
give me a reason as to why they didn't tell me!
I, then, proceeded to look for answers, but when I explained it
all to the other employees at Disney, they were just as shocked and
angry as I was. We had no place to stay becuz all of Disney was
booked. We didn't understand why they would book people to stay in the
building then make them get out in the morning so they could blow it up.
I began to get more and more mad as I realized that my favorite
clothes, my favorite pasttimes possessions (which I randomly packed),
my camera with every photo I ever took, and other key items in my
life, were gone! Forever! The crazy man didn't even bother to
compensate me for my losses! The Disney workers told me to get Disney
to buy me everything I lost but I was too upset to even begin to
remember what I had lost. No one bothered to tell me that it was going
to happen.
Okay, so maybe it didn't "radically" change my life, but it was a strange occurrence. Well I hope you will enjoy my blog and I will try my best to post entries regularly.
Can't wait to hear from people!
David....
